Four simple steps.Real results.
Here's exactly what happens, from the moment you book a free consultation to the moment your child sits their exam. No mystery. No hidden steps.
Book Your Free ConsultationThe free 20-minute consultation
You book a time on our booking page, we call (or video call) at the chosen time, and we talk through your child's situation. Where are they now? Where do they need to be? What's been tried before? What are you worried about?
No payment, no commitment. This call is for both of us — you're finding out whether we're the right fit, and we're working out exactly how we can help.
The diagnostic first session
Your first paid session is structured slightly differently. We run a short diagnostic — a writing task, a comprehension exercise, a brief conversation — to establish exactly where your child is. Not a test that makes them anxious; a relaxed, guided session that tells us what the work is.
By the end of session one, we know their strengths, their gaps, and exactly what to focus on.
Your child's personalised learning plan
Within a week of the diagnostic, you receive a written learning plan. It maps out the target grade, the specific skills we'll work on, the exam timeline (if applicable), and the milestones along the way.
You'll keep this document — and review it with us every half-term. It's not a generic worksheet. It's your child's plan, built around their starting point and their goals.

Weekly sessions and half-termly progress reports
Weekly 60-minute sessions, online. Every session is planned against your child's learning plan — not improvised. Homework is set and feedback given between sessions.
Every half-term, you receive a written progress report — what's improving, what's next, where the gaps still are. No surprises, no guesswork. You'll always know exactly where your child stands.
Ready to start?
The first step is always the same — a free, no-pressure conversation about your child.

We use Zoom for all online sessions. Your child will need a laptop or tablet with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space. We send the link before every session — no software to install beyond Zoom itself.
Cancel or reschedule with 24 hours' notice and there's no charge. Under 24 hours, the session is charged in full but rescheduled within the block. We understand life happens — we just ask for reasonable notice.
That's entirely up to you. Some families continue through holidays (especially approaching exams), others take a break. Block sessions don't expire within a term, so there's no pressure either way.
Yes — especially for the first session or two. Some students work better with a parent nearby; others prefer independence. We'll find what works for your child. You'll always receive a written summary after every session regardless.
After every session, you receive a short written summary of what was covered and what homework has been set. Homework feedback is given at the start of the next session and shared with you in writing. Half-termly progress reports provide the bigger picture.
